EMPLOYER SPONSORSHIP: INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND OVERSEAS SKILLED WORKERS

On April 27, 2019, Ontario suspended employer-sponsored immigrants, and the shortage of occupational categories is currently unaffected.

  1. After applying for more than 2 years of education (degree) or more than 1 year of postgraduate certificate at any public university or college in Canada, the applicant must come to Ontario to find NOC 0, A, and B jobs, and the employer meets certain requirements. And willing to guarantee, then the applicant can apply for immigration directly.
  2. Applicants who are engaged in the low-end occupational category in the low-end agriculture or construction industry in Ontario for one year, the language can reach CLB level 4, and the employer meets certain requirements and is willing to guarantee, then the applicant can apply for immigration directly.
    This category does not require the applicant’s language, working hours, etc.
    This project is a regular paper provincial nominee project. It cannot add 600 points to the fast track and does not need to enter the pool in advance.
    At present, the provincial nomination phase of the project takes a long time to process, and applicants need to hold a long-term work permit. For international student categories, graduation should not exceed one year. If you are not sure if the time is sufficient, please consult our consultants.

Corporate guarantee qualification

Companies must meet all of the following employer guidelines, job standards, and meet the employer’s requirements for the number of positions they are eligible to apply for in Ontario.
The company has been established for at least 3 years (may be a company, a limited liability partnership or a sole proprietorship);
In the most recent fiscal year, there was at least $1 million in total revenue (for companies in the Greater Toronto Area), or total revenues of at least $500,000 (for companies outside the Greater Toronto Area).
Provide no less than 5 full-time permanent jobs (for companies within the Greater Toronto Area) or at least 3 full-time permanent jobs (for businesses outside of Greater Toronto).
There are places of business in the Ontario area and nominees will work here.

Job standard

Must be a permanent full-time position;
Technical occupation in the NOC 0, A or B category;
Meet current wage levels (for foreign workers) or qualify for entry wages (for nationality students). Information on wages for various occupations can be found on the Labour Market Information website of Canada;

A position necessary for the company to operate.

Number of jobs that employers can apply for

Employers can ask for multiple types of positions. Each position can employ 5 full-time staff (for companies in the Greater Toronto Area) or 3 full-time staff for each position (for companies outside the Greater Toronto Area).
Whether the company is in the Greater Toronto Area, the company can provide up to 20 positions. Requests for more than 20 positions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. There are two exceptions: employers in the health and education sectors, depending on the specific needs of these industries, regardless of the quantity, can provide any position they need.
