LOW INCOME CUT-OFFS
Scope of Application
The “Family Minimum Income Standard” is the cost that the Canadian government has to set up to meet the needs of the family for one year. This form is required for visa immigration and many other aspects. This data is published by the federal government and is updated annually.
Canadian citizens or permanent residents invite their parents to come to Canada to apply for a super visa that can stay for 2 years. The inviting party needs to prove that the income of the previous year is the minimum income.
Even if you do not apply for a super visa, the minimum income standard is an important reference for parents to visit relatives.
All kinds of skilled immigrants require the applicant to have sufficient funds to find a job in Canada after landing. Usually, the applicant needs to prove that there is funds for supporting half a year of life, which is half of the number in the form.
The provincial nomination requirements are usually half the number in the table, but different provinces may be slightly different. Provincial nomination applications are usually reviewed at the provincial level and are not reviewed at the federal level. But immigrants in Quebec do not use this indicator.
Applying for a reunion of a parent requires three years before the application, and the annual income reaches 130% of this standard. It is also necessary to prove that this standard is also met in the process of sponsoring the parents’ immigration.
Apply for spouse reunion immigration exemption funding requirements.
Calculation Method
The main applicant, the spouse and the child of the applicant, generally need to calculate whether or not they are accompanied, but the super visa can not count the people who are not invited.
The guarantor (invitant), spouse and child need to count the number of people.
In the application for reunion, the person who is being guaranteed (the application has not yet been approved), or the guarantee has been approved, but the number of people is required to be fulfilled.
The income of the spouse can be combined and calculated. In the guarantee application, the combined calculation requires a cooperative signature (Co-sign).
Parents reunited with immigrants need to increase this number by an additional 30%, which is multiplied by 1.3 times.
