CANADIAN VISA PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

Temporary residents and permanent residents have different requirements for electronic photos. The main difference is that the requirements for photos of temporary residents (study marks, travel visas, work permits) are 35mm x 45mm, and the requirements for photos of Maple Leaf Card and naturalization are 50mm x 70mm.

Only need an electronic photo

Some applications only require electronic photos, and the requirements will be more relaxed. Applicants can use a mobile phone or a digital camera to stand in front of the white wall and take a photo and process it. The new generation can handle photos on their behalf.

Permanent Residents apply for additional considerations

Permanent residents (Maple Leaf Card, Naturalization) apply for more strict requirements on photos. Applicants should pay attention to the size of the head. Photographs that do not meet the requirements are likely to require re-mailing. More important is the information on the back of the photo. There is no information on the back or the information is not clear and may be returned.

The requirement for a photo of a permanent resident is to indicate on the back the name of the applicant, the date of the birthday, the date of the photo, and the name and address of the photo studio. If you are making it in China, you can write this information and make a chapter in Canada that usually covers the photo studio. Applicants can add other information by hand.
