CO-OP OR INTERNSHIP WORK PERMIT
Students can take up to 20 hours of off-campus work each week while attending a professional course.
Internships vary, and internships are part of the study. During the internship period, students can work full-time for the employer designated by the school.
The internship sign is usually valid for the same period as the study permit.
Conditions for applying for an internship
- Must have a valid study permit;
- The work to be carried out must be an essential part of the learning project;
- Work as part of the study must be officially recognized by the school;
- And the internship can’t exceed 50% of the study project, it can’t be a medical internship, and the resident doctor can’t do it (except veterinarians).
- International students who study English, French or general courses cannot apply for an internship.
Delivery method
Internships can be submitted at the same time as the student ID.
Usually the network submits, all materials only need to be scanned, and the big sign will be mailed directly from the immigration office to the address specified by the applicant.
